Previously, I was the first engineering manager at Kong, where I helped grow the company from an open-source API gateway into a broader API and AI infrastructure platform. I worked across Kong Gateway, Kong Cloud, Kubernetes Ingress Controller, and later LLM Gateway, and built Kong’s overseas engineering organization from the ground up into a 60+ engineer team serving 700+ enterprise customers and helping power a business with over $100M in ARR.

Before that, I was the fourth engineer on Cloudflare’s Edge team, helping scale CDN, WAF, and Front Line systems that served trillions of requests per day. I was also a major contributor to OpenResty.

I care about distributed systems, resilient infrastructure, and the execution layer that makes agents reliable in the real world.
